中央聖馬丁校友Kirsty Ward 2013年春夏季新作“茶女士”

英國著名時裝設計師Kirsty Ward 發布了她的2013年最新春夏季時裝系列“茶女士”。本次系列中，巧妙的把柳丁，鉸鏈等珠寶飾品搭在主色調為灰，藍色的連衣裙上，凸顯出都市女士的高雅氣質，非常獨特。Kirsty 提到，她每個季節都會去不同的地方，而創作靈感就來自她所在的那個地方，並再加一些新的元素。 她非常喜歡茶色系的圍裙和馬甲，也非常喜歡把普通平凡的東西變成華麗和高雅。Kirsty Ward 畢業于中央聖馬丁藝術與設計學院，畢業之後在2010年創立了同名品牌 Kirsty Ward，在珠寶設計和時裝設計領域里有非常優秀的作品。

 

 

 

After completing a fresh-out-of-university-design-stint at Alberta Ferretti, and an MA in Womenswear at the esteemed Central Saint Martins, designer Kirsty Ward set up her eponymous label in 2010.

 

Beautifully marrying clothing and jewellery; Kirsty’s creations echo her affection for unconventional structures with a hint of eclecticism – working unexpected materials such as rivets and hinges into her wondrous collections.

 

Named by Vogue.com as one of their ‘Designer’s to Watch in 2011’ and one of Selfridges’ ‘Bright Young Things of 2011′, My Fashion Life caught up with uber-talented designer to talk about cake, christmas presents and her hotly anticipated Spring 2013 collection.

 

Your Spring Summer 2013 collection is pitched as ‘sheer sports luxe vs. tea ladies’; Tell us about the creative inspiration behind this?

 

Each season I like to move on from where I’ve left it the season before, but I will add something new into the mix to keep it fresh.

 

I’m obsessed by tea ladies and the tabards/aprons that they wear, I also like the challenge of making something ordinary/mundane into something beautiful/luxurious.
